GC Electronics is a prominent company in the electrical and electronic distribution industry, with a rich history spanning over 75 years. Through the ever-evolving technological landscape, GC Electronics has continuously adapted and innovated, from the early days of electron tubes to the modern era of transistors, integrated circuits, and microprocessors. In 1930, the company was founded in Rockford, Illinois by Stanley B. Valiulis and Richard Ellis as "General Cement Manufacturing Company." Its humble beginnings saw Stanley producing general service cement, designated as part number 30-2, from his garage. This inaugural product marked the genesis of GC Electronics and its enduring legacy in the industry.
